Testimonial

Read this letter to Don from Jean Clarke, violinist and strings teacher at Stone Academy (elementary school).

"Don, thank you so much for tuning the piano in my strings classroom at Stone Academy! You always do an excellent job tuning the piano. It is so important to have an "in tune" piano for strings students to practice with. I teach my students the correct intonation based on the piano pitches. You have also done an excellent job tuning the other three pianos at our school---the general music/choral piano, the "piano studio" piano, and the stage piano. We always choose you to tune our pianos."

As one of the many piano tuners in Greenville, SC, Don became interested in tuning pianos after years of piano playing experience. Fascinated with the history of keyboard and fixed-string tuning, he began this trade learning to tune his Celtic harp, and eventually began to learn to address the larger issue of tuning the piano.
